My name is David Costa and along with my family, we dedicate our lives to cultivate oranges, the famous kind of Valencia oranges. Having been inspired by it when naming our websites lanaranjadevalencia.es and naranjascosta.com.

We cultivate the oranges and we deliver them to you right at the perfect moment, when it is rightly matured and rich in viatmins and sugar, so you can enjoy them in 24 hours.
Thanks to this system and taking the most of all the types of oranges we cultivate, can we offer you the chance to acquire oranges directly from the farmer from November until July. Id est, We sell during all the period when the oranges ( Navelina, Navel lane Late and Valencia Late types) can be produced in our region.
During these last years we have observed the devaluation of our product in the markets, above all in the nationals, where we are loosing not only the consumers but also the farmers themselves.
Consumers are loosing a great deal, from our point of view, by choosing an everytime more artificially cultivated product.
The farmers as well are loosing the same way as they see how the process is taken care of nowadays, such is the amount of hands and dealers along the way. Then is not difficutl to imagine why the productivity costs are far superior than the income received at the end.
We are aware that we are not the first ones, neither the only ones in deciding take this step, and surely some others will follow, as I always say: the more we are the stronger we will be to fight for our goals.

This is our second year in selling through Internet, and day by day we are reaching and increasing number of consumers. They are deciding to buy our Oranges without the doubts of the kind: What am I going to receive? Will it be worthy? And all that is being supported by the excellent product we offer of course, bearing in mind that the land itself is priviledged, our dearest Benicull, with such special climate conditions for the citrics cultivations. And that is the upmost importance obviously, as the taste and acidity can vary so much depending where the oranges have been cultivated, even inside the same region. Here in the Province of Valencia, for instance, the taste would be different when they came from the North, the Centre or the Interior Lands from the Coastline.
We have to express our sincere gratitude as well to all those farmers who are starting the entrepreneurship of selling oranges through Internet, without the certitude of selling them all, or the frightening climating conditions that sometimes arise and destroy whole cultivation lands. Without any doubt we are, the ones who sell directly to the consumers, the ones who strenghthening the market, publiciting the simple fact to the consumers, the importance of enjoying a high quality of progressively cultivated oranges.
Most of the farmers use to comercialise their oranges through the big merchants, but during its long process the quality of the oranges is reduced dramatically as they have to travel through warehouses and fridge rooms, they have to go under preservative and colouring processes.
Besides the orange will take 30 days, give or take, in being consummed, which obviously means that the oranges must be harvested not being matured, not having acquired the proper vitamins and sugar ingredients.
Our distribution process instead only takes 24 hours and is as follows:

Selection and Harvesting processes
The Valencian Oranges different varieties we offer you, are strictly harvested exactly at their best harvesting periods, id est, when the matured orange in the tree is ready, not before, not after. That is why we only offer our products when we ensure that the quality of our oranges is the highest. The oranges are selected in a manual and careful way just the day before the delivery, always trying to choose the best for you. We have to consider here that not all the oranges from the same tree mature at the same time.

Our farm is set in the Ribera Baja, in Valencia, 14 km far from the coast, ideally located to cultivate oranges. Moreover is located in the Benicull village, which boasts a long farming tradition, basically of oranges.
Our farm features
We own our own well, using its waters to irrigate the orange trees, through a dripping process that allows us excelling the harvest quality at the same time it saves water so we do not depend on anyone to irrigate our lands when neccesary. That way we ensure that our oranges have the perfect quantity of water right at the optimum moment.
In this area there is also a micro climate, with perfect conditions to cultivate oranges. The oranges are mild in Winter and warm in Summer.
This fact means getting excellent harvests because it is impossible to suffer heavy snow.
We sell natural oranges, first quality, from our own harvest
The oranges have not been embellished or treated in any way, we make emphasis in that as it is very rare lately, though ensures the highest quality, the best taste possible, picked right from the tree.
Procedures to buy our oranges: delivery and payment.
We are so sure about our oranges quality that we offer you the possibility of paying after the delivery, when satisfied. The payment can be settled through bank transfer to one of our accounts we will send with the delivery. The quantity should be transferred to me, David Costa Martínez ( Oranges from Valencia - Costa Oranges). It can also be settled by paying to the driver when delivered. Or even through banker´s draft.
The last innovation has been the possibility of payment through credit card and Paypal, but this options are only available when ordering directly in our Costa Naranjas website, for security reasons.
Therefore, you may order without any risk, as in case of lost, you will not need to pay anything. Only when they arrive to your home, allowing you to make sure the quality is at the expected level. That means also that in the case of receiving a not satisfying delivery, you have the right to give us a phone call in the following 72 hours and ask us to remove the delivery. Not needing to pay anything. In the case you will prefer to be sent a new one, removing the not up to standard ones, we will make sure of it free of charge. You will only pay then for the second one.
Packing costs are included in the prices publicized when ordering our oranges.
We will pick the ordered oranges just before packing them for you. You will be receiving them in 24 hours, directly from our harvests. Thanks to that , you will be able to enjoy them in the following 15 or even 20 days, without noticing a decay. In order to preserve them it will be not neccesary to keep them in the fridge, as they have been recently picked from the tree .
Besides, because they are 100% natural oranges with an espectacular quality, you will be able to notice first hand their unique taste and the incredible amount of juice they will produce.

We deliver on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

IMPORTANT
In all cases the oranges will be picked from the trees just the day before when you will receive them.
