What is the difference between these oranges and those that are sold at the markets?

The oranges that are sold at the markets are oranges that usually have gone through cold stores in order to be mantained during a certain period of time. The oranges you are ordering now, will be delivered at your home in 24 hours at the latest. It is a way of buying that everyday passing is increasing its demand and number of followers, who have realized the good qualities of the oranges we offer. Oranges freshly hasrvested and always at their optimum period of hasrvesting. You can therefore enjoy buying oranges directly from the farmer.
 
 

What are the differences between the freshly harvested oranges and those that have been stored in cold stores?

The freshly harvested oranges have been rippened in the tree until the last moment.
While those that have been stored in cold stores are usually harvested beforehand so they can be stored untill they are sold at the markets.
In that case, the oranges are harvested green, and it is only during the time they spend in store when they get the colour that afterwards they will show at the markets.
 
 

How long can they endure at home?

Because our oranges have been freshly harvested they can endure from 15 to 20 days at home without a problem.
If the place where they will be stored is fresh an properly ventilated, they can endure a good state for 5 or even 6 weeks! Kindly check them everyday, wash and dry them.
 

Do I have to keep them in the fridge?

It is not neccesary to keep them in the fridge , they will mantain their features in a perfect state outside it. But as a piece of advice, try not to set them next to warm places (heaters, radiators, sunny places..)
And it is also very important is taking the oranges out from the box and separating them in 2 or 3 different places. That way they will be aired and they will endure better.
 

How long will it take until the oranges to arrive to my home?

The transport agency comes to pick the orders daily to deliver them the following day.
They come to pick up the orders from monday to thursday, that is why all the orders placed from thursday to sunday will have to wait until monday.
And the oranges will always be picked therefore that same Monday when they would be packed to be delivered.

Why the orders do not start being delivered until Monday?

The placed orders on Thursdays- Sundays are not prepared until Monday because they will be all weekend in the Transport Agency Store, and we are proud on harvesting them and offering them to you in the following 24 hours, much more fresher.
Although we could deliver the order placed on Thursdays only in the case the order were to be placed early in the morning, giving us time to prepare everything.

If it would be the case of public holidays, we would collect the oranges in the following working day. And you will be receiving them the next day.
 

How is the order prepared?

Once the order is placed, we start arrangements the following day. Once prepared, we phone the transport agency to come and pick them up and deliver them to your home the following day.
 

How can I make the payment?

By paypal or credit card

 
 

Are there any charges?

The delivery is free of charges, as they are already included in the final price.
 

At what time will I receive the order?

The oranges are sent in the afternoon, so you can enjoy them next day.
They can be delivered from 08:30h to 14:00h and from 16,00h to 19,00h although this may vary depending from which city are you ordering from.
It would also be very interesting if you would let us know a certain time when you prefer that your order is delivered. For instance: Mornings from 10 to 14.00.
We kindly ask you to give the agency enough time, and requisites in order not to cause a lot of inconveniences in the delivery.
 

Could I say an specific time for the delivery?

You may suggest a certain time but an specific time would be extremely difficult as there are so many inconveniences that may arise on the way.
 

What would it happen if after placing an order, the messenger would find nobody at home?

In that case, he would let a note saying that he came. In the note you will find a telephone number where the nearest agency is. Where you may go and pick it up yourself.
The oranges will not suffer for one day more at the agencie, as they will endure for 15 or even 20 days.
 

What should I do if they deliver the order late?

Kindly sign the invoice stating date and time, and then please send it to us so we can claim to the agency as it was neither the service we paid for and not the service we offered you.
REMEMBER: That gesture would help us control their service as well.
 

What should I do if I am not at home often?

You may suggest us another adress, job adress, another family member adress, colleagues, friends.. You may ask us also to phone you when the deliver has arrived etc.
 

Is there a minimum of weight to order?

The minimum to order is abox of 15 kg, which will endure for a couple around 3 weeks.
 

Is there a timetable to place the orders by phone?

Yes, usually is from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 19:00h. Although you may have already realized that we always take the phone.
 

Could I place a periodic order of one or several boxes?

Of course you can!. Just let us know when would you like to have them and we will do our best to satisfy you.
We will phone you previously to make sure that everything is ok, in the case that you need the orders before or after, sometimes it can happen and we understand.
 

Payment and delivery procedures

 
We are so sure about our quality that you may pay us when you receive them, and certify their quality.
The payment can be done by paypal or credit card.

Therefore you will have no risk, because if your order is lost you will have to pay nothing. Only when you receive and check them will you have to pay. Even after doing so, if you happen to be not satisfied you may phone us in the following 72 hours and ask us to take the orders away. In which case, once again, you will have to pay nothing.If you happen to need another box, a new one because the one you receive it was not satisfactory, we will change it without an extra cost for you. The transport charges and fees are included in the price.
 
 

The more quantity I order the cheaper they will be?

Yes, if you have a look to our virtual shop, the more you order the cheaper it will be as the transport will also be cheaper.
 

Why not trying to order for all the family, or the colleagues at work and so on?

You could benefit from 5 euros per box, in orders of more than 6 boxes

 

How can I trust the quality?

The last season 2009 2010 has offered us en excellent result in the survey carried on to our clients. They were extremely satisfied. They can be seen in the are of Newsletter and you yourself can have a look at them.
Besides there is one better survey, which is the amount of clients we are having, an increasing number of clients, motivated by their friends or family who have already tried our products.
We are being extremelly well accepted by the clientele.
 

Are there any other farmers that offer the same service. directly to the consumer?

Of course, there are more than 50 farmers from small and medium farms that offer their products directly to their consumers.
We publicize them in the Newsletter, as you can verify in this our website. So you could also choose among them to serve you.
